About the only way is to pull the regulator, clean and regrease it. It could also be the channel weather striping. Try getting some silicone spray and hosing the channel down. If it works much better, it might be time to put new stuff in.

    m-t71,
take the glass out first and if you have the reg. with the bolts in it (4), remove them, the reg. comes out. the glass has two plastic pins. i take a quarter and put on the back side of the pin and pop the pin out of the plastic bushing. it could be you have a plastic bushing that is bad. that would let the glass drop a little on one end. that would make it dig into the channel when you roll the glass up. there are also two plastic rollers that run in the channal the plastic pin/bushings are in. one or both of them could be dry /bad.
..remove the glass,.. remove the reg..., inspect.., lub..., replace the window felt.., replace the window wipes.. and reinstall. that would be my plan (y) ...frank...
