To all of our Gulf Coast members and friends, I hope you all are safe, and weather this hurricane in good shape. I will be thinking of you and praying for you.

My prayers are with all who may be affected by the storm. My family from New Orleans is staying with us, and here at the university, I have an empty bedroom in my apartment that will be used by students from Alabama. I think this 'cane is gonna be a bad one. Luck to all, and as I said, you are in our prayers. Preston

My family in Mobile dodged a bullet as Ivan made landfall to there east Thank God.
My sister lives in Pensacola and they evacuated...they havn't been able to get to there house yet after coming back, they may not have one to comeback to.
To think that IDIOT husband of hers was gonna try and ride it out being only 2 miles from the Gulf.
I think I helped to gently persuade him when I told him I would Kick Hiss A$$ if something happenned to my sister or nieces.

My family in Atmore Alabama and also in Pensacola were hit extremely hard. Still no electricity, and gas is being rationed. Please pray for all of the families hit by the hurricane, because believe me, they need it. Preston
