Well ya'll, I am finally out of my car-hating slump.(I hope) I have been working :smash: on the Maverick the last few days, and so far:rolleyes: all is pretty good. I dropped the oil pan this evening, and got the other oil pump shaft out of the bottem of the pan. (I feel MUCH more relieved and willing to drive it now):D I am just waiting on my radiator to come in. Was supposed to be in on Tuesday, but now they have a tracer out on it and are hoping to have it located and here by Friday.:slap:
Once the radiator comes in, I will put it in and hopefully be finished for awhile. Once it is running, then I get to tune it. (Any suggestions? )Since we last talked, I have a Holley Street Dominator intake, Edelbrock 650, Crane Cams Electronic conversion kit, NEW 3 core radiator(and a fan shroud :bananaman ), and last but not least, a new oil pump drive shaft.Any ideas on whether or not I will get a little increase out of the intake/carb? And I am really excited about the radiator and fan shroud. (Now I won't have to kill it at redlights) Just thought I'd give a little update. Ya'll take care. Preston

Yes, you should feel a difference with the intake & carb. You will definately notice the difference on gas milage....LOL Glad to hear you almost have it running. Keep us posted.
