    there are a set of tail lights on e bay...buy now $225. starting bid $175.:slap: am i missing something...frank...

    It's because they have been rechromed. there still not worth nearly that much in my opinion.

    If you want a good ebay laugh - do a search for "hood tach" and take a look at the Dixco tachs. Over $500 :eek: These were for sale at JC Whitney up until a few years ago for about $70. Even on ebay about a year ago you could find a Ford marked Dixco for around $100. I think Whitney or somebody needs to bring these back. After all, aren't electronics supposed to get cheaper over time?

    Hens teeth are rare?! :eek: Oh man, there's that word 'rare' again. They'll start showing up on Ebay next and there will be some idiot out there who would bid on them. As for the tail lights, I saw that auction and thought the seller was out of his mind. For that kind of money, they should be gold plated.

    That was my point......people put the word RARE in their auction, classified ads, etc...because they perceive there is a value to it. They might as well go all the way and say As Rare as Hen's Teeth.
