how do you guys think a hood scoop for an early 70's AMX would look on a 2dr Maverick, I saw one at a show, and I thought the lines looked like they would work pretty well, I'd use a grabber hood, but I kind of think I want something different

it's sc103 to get an idea, the openings look a little big to me, but I think I may give these guys a call and check it out anyway

That is "21 wide in front &"17 in back.
Mav/Comet hoods are wider in rear.
Front may not allow it to sit flat.

you might think twice about using that company's products. many on here have had some dealings with them. ask around or do a search.

    I dunno bout that one.

I have always wanted to see a teardrop (T-bolt) scoop on a Maverick.

I have a 70 Dodge Demon scoop on mine... fit like a glove.
Another good thing about factory scoops compared to aftermarket, they are VERY sturdy and have studs built in so they are 'plug and play'. No fitting, glassing, trimming, or flimsy looks. Just drill the holes and bolt it on.

I was thinking the teardrop as well, but I need to toy around with shapes before I commit. I was thinking about fabricating my own from sheet metal, but that is way down the road
