Thanks guy for the compliments on my cars. The green one is on the back burner for now. The tan one is well on it's way to becoming a black GT clone. both are one owners before me. Both were all orginal. the green one was owned by an elderly gentleman. He bought it new for his son. It only shows 33,000 miles but sat for quite a while it has some rust underneath. The tan one was bought new by a lady that lives close by. It was parked in 1990 in her garage. it has 82,000 miles.

    Ron,

Nice cars. If you wanted to sell the green one I would be very interested in it.

Guys I am not interested in selling the comets. It took too long to find them. I bought a new 71 GT Black with silver stripes. Traded it in 1975 for a Mercury Montego MX 460 engine. Sure wish I had kept the 71GT. I have owned 3 comets and 2 mavericks. love these cars. I guess I am getting old I just dont like the new cars that much. I also have a 67 mustang convertible. I drive the newer ones just dont like them as much.

I was thinking of putting those wheels on my GT. I have the reproduction ones on my Maverick with the plain hub caps and I was thinking the GT hub caps would be just the thing for the GT
