Here is another interesting e-bay car...the Comerick!!! Yikes. A good example of a car that should be inspected prior to buying on ebay unless it's really cheap, which he says it is.

P.S.-I hope the seller doesn't read this forum. If so, I apologize in advance for being a little bit negative towards the car. If it is cheap, it may actually be a good deal because it looks cool. It's just hard to tell the actual condition of the car without seeing it in person, which is my point.

Id buy the car in a second..
Mainly because it has a good grill/hood or as far as I can tell it does... and I need a hood
Interior is a lot better than mine (none)
So I'd buy it...... even tho it is a combination car

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't that a Maverick bumper on the front?
They changed the grille and hood, but not the bumper from the look of it.

It looks just like the fat ba$tard I just took off my 75 Mav.
I knew the earlier Comets had a sculpted bumper, but couldn't remember if it carried over into the big un's.

73 and up Comets had the Maverick bumper.....put it sat out farther away from the car. It looks like this one does sit out further.

I saw that car when we had the Va mini meet in June at a stop light in Chester Virginia. 2 young boys who were suprised to see my Comet as I was to see the Comerick. I didnt see the front but I'm pretty sure it was that car. Didnt look that bad .
