need rear end info. help

o.k. all,
someone gave us a "web site" that showed how to lock a peg leg rear end to make it simi pos. could someone remind me where it is? thanks ...frank...

 

Extra shims in the spider gears is supposed to do it Frank. Just one on each side. Let us know how it works, I've thought about trying that myself.

 

i have a 3.00 gear tore down. i saw a site on here that was about a guy that did it and gave part# to order the washers.

 

Mavman did it and it worked well, but the washers used, looked a bit worse for wear when it was changed out to a trak-loc.

 

So it was reliable Old Guy? I have thought about doing this for awhile, but I worried about when doing a burnout at the track if it would stand up to it. Preston

 

At least it was the washers and not the gears! I think I may try that over the winter with my gears.
