Considering taking on another side project, but need some 5 speed info first.

One of the guys at work approached me today about someone he knows that wants to put together his 1972 2d Maverick. It's a factory 302/c4 car and he wants to put in a 5 speed.
I'm not sure if I want to take it on or not allthough it wouldn't be until the one I'm helping bludog with is done (probably spring).
Any experience would be greatly appreciated as I've never done this type of swap before.
