Does anyone remember the tubular grills offered for the Maverick from Cal. Custom back in the mid-'70's? I think those didn't look half-bad. Anyone know of anyplace to find these nowadays?

I called today, and talked to the owner. He told me that I would need to pull my original grill off to send in as a template. Shipping/Handling and everthing included would be around 350. Worth it?? I might get one in a month or so. But then again, I have often thought of building my own. :smash: Preston

Somehow, I remember the the horizontal cross pieces on the grills to have been thicker. Maybe I'm wrong. Good scouting, though, Don! For that much money, you could probably have the local fab shop do a custom job. Maybe even less if you provided the specs and measurements. Glad to see I'm not the only person who remembers these!
