I'd hate to see what that costs. Probably more than I have in my whole drive train.

Expen$ive for sure! I think I read that they're about $2000, plus machining costs which should put it close to $2500.

You'd have to be hard core to get one of those....either that or pushing the limits of a stock block (like me!)

They are expensive!! I saw where a guy on ebay is offering them for $1700 with free shipping, could be some kind of scam though because that's the only place I've seen them go for less than $2000. I'm gonna try to pick one up within the next year.

That is an all or nothing investment. Top of the line block needs top of the line rotating parts. You sure don't want to do any "experiments" with chinese rods or cheap pistons with one of those. Check these guys out for a source

Last time I was in their store - I'm almost certain I saw a Dart and a couple SVO blocks.

The guy that did my engine is doing a Big Block Dart bored and stroked to 512...cost on the block alone was 3000 grand...no machining included...ouch:slap:
He said after all is said and done the cost will be pushing the 12 grand mark.

Let's see...$3000 on a block (approx)....and usually costs about $300-400 to get a stock block "done up", that's 10 stock blocks at the same price as a Dart.

Sorry, for the money, I wouldn't waste it on Iron block. Aluminum...that way it can be welded, and it's lighter!

Wait, I see where Dart is making aluminum now. Hmmmmmmmmmm
