floor shift

    im putting factory floor shift "auto" in my maverick ...originally it was on column, do i just buy the shifter and bolt it in...or is there some sort of tunnel deal that bolts to floor first?????

    Mine is just bolted in the middle with the linkage under carpet. Didn't look to bad but i had to take it apart and pull up carpet and all that good stuff. I still have the hole on the column that i got to fix tho.

    Yes, there is a tunnel piece that bolts to the floor. This is only needed if you want it to be completely factory...

    Just to confirm that, I bolted my factory shifter directly to the tunnel after cutting the hole.
