There's a guy in town that has a set of aluminum slots off a Torino, how close will these come to fitting on my '71? Does anybody know those measurements?
i dont try more than 4" back space. prefer 3-3 1/2. as you try a wider tire or wider aspect tire it may bring the section (bulge) too close to the spring or inner wheel housing. if using a 70 or 75 ratio tire, 4" would work. anything wider might need less bs. torino wheels are what dimensions? i wouldnt want less than 6" wide, or more than 7.5" on 70 or 75 tires. what tires you going to try to use? torino wheels are what?
They should fit fine as long as you have the 5-lug bolt pattern and as long as the tires are not too wide...
Are you referring to factory mags? I have never seen factory aluminum slots on a Torino. They could be aftermarket. Maybe unilug style. Could be 15 in. wheels. Seth
