that looks like this one? It is mounted in the rear package tray where the left speaker is normally put. Haven't dug into it yet to see if it is Ford. The switch on the dash looks like a dealer type install. I've seen the same push/pull switch sold on ebay and listed as a defogger switch. Sorry the picture is so dark. It was pretty late and i was taking it through the glass so no flash.....

I would say its aftermarket. Where is the switch located on the dash? Mine was located under the front fan switched and looked exactly like it.

They put a push pull switch into the same spot on the heater control that a factory switch is located at. The switch looks like ones sold on ebay as a Ford dealer part. Just seems weird to me that somebody putting in an aftermarket would go through the trouble of mounting the switch into that heater control cover. But a dealer install would put the switch in that location like the factory did. I'm gonna look it all over in the daylight and see if I can find Ford numbers and get some better pictures.

Yup - I looked it over today. No marking on it except for a part number and 12volt. Typical 70's JCW unmarked parts. It is pretty good overall and runs smooth. Off to Ebay land it will go ...... (y)
