Thorley Headers

    Just wondering if anyone has ever used "Doug Thorley" Headers on there Maverick? I used a set on a 74 302 Mav many years ago. I just searched there web site & it looks like they still offer them. Here is the link if anyone is interested.

    Not sure. The Mav I used them on was a 3 speed manual in the floor.

    I still have my set of Thorleys, second best fitting header in my experience. But the Hookers are by far the best fit so far.

    Mike if you plan on buying coated headers buy them directly from Jet-Hot. They offer new Hooker Headers with the Jet Hot Coating for the same price as the Hooker Coated Headers but they are nicer.

    Hooker coating sucks big time. I will buy the Jet Hot from now on.

    Hooker only coats the outside of the headers.
    Jet-Hot does the inside and outside.
    Hooker coating is also notorious for flaking off.
    Jet-Hot keeps the Hookers in stock for the same price as Hooker coated parts.
