I was replacing a power supply in a computer today, saw a Mav sitting under a tree.
After I was done, I sat there and shot the bull with the owner's brother for awhile. 1970 Mav, 2 door, roof is dented in severely, trunk is dented on the back, the hood, fenders and doors are in good shape, good glass all the way around. The driver's rear quarter is kinda rough, but fixable if I was dying to fix the car. The biggest thing, after I'm finished with my passenger door and getting ready to start on the driver's side, I find two rust free doors.

Now, if the guy is willing to sell it for what its worth rather than what he wants...

Its been sitting for 6+ years, 250/C4, grill is in the back seat, front seats are about ruined. Overall, an excellent body parts car, might even have floorpans, but I'm not likely to replace my custom pans.

This is a four lug 70, it has the 7.5 rear right?
If I get it, odds are pretty good all the drivetrain will replace my brother's old 170/Cruisomatic in his 64 Falcon.

Think anything else will cross with the Falcon?

Also, my doors have trim across the top even with the door handles, how hard will it be to add this to a door without the little clips for trim?

Sounds like a good find, if he dosen't try to rip you off on the price. Funny, I had to replace the power supply in my computer today also. It's been on the fritz for months.
