    That's the what it said on page 37 of Ford Times of Feb.1972

    Nice story, Did anyone here know that the Maverick became the first American car to win the two wheel drive category of the Baja 500 !

    It was a 1971 Model with a 302, roll bars, large fuel tank, instrument gauges, special headlights, dual shocks,and heavy coil springs up front.
