A while back somebody posted pictures of an original Lime Green Grabber they were restoring. The shell had been freshly painted and the pictures showed the shell up on jack stands. I was really looking forward to seeing that car completed ....

Anybody know which car I am talking about and whether it's completed or not?

Don't need one, but would like one. I can't help but be a stinker. Remember the words of that great early 20th century philosopher, "I yam what I yam."

Nope ... saw that one ... The one I am talking about was stripped down to the shell and then painted ... the pictures showed it freshly painted. The green paint in the link above looks lighter than the correct factory lime green ...

    (y) Good looking car !! Reminds me of my first Comet !! Had that same color with a 170 3 on the tree !! Gave it or sold it to Inline6 when I was around 20.(18Years ago).

i saw a fairly restored one in about 92 that was the lighter green like that. the grabber stripes on it were about the color of M.A.V.s car body. if id had the money at the time i would have bought it. probably my last choice in color, but it was a nice car.

 Ya know, there's just something about those greens that make me think of 60's & 70's cars !! That could be because I started out as a Mopar fanatic !! The old colors : Sassy grass green, Sublime, Limelight, Citron green metallic.
Not sure what Ford called their's but I think they are cool !!!!
