Any one know if the idler and inner and outer tie rods are the same for the power ste

    swaping mine over to manuel all my tie rods and idler are good can i reuse them thanks

    As far as I know the tie rods are the same but, the idler arm is different. The power steering version is suppose to be stiffer that's what they use to center the steering so I've read.

    how about the pitmen arm they look very close but the manuel is a little defrent

    yes, the pitman arms are different. The manual one has the balljoint going in one way, and the power one has it going in a different way (one goes from the top, the other from the bottom--cant remember which one goes which way.) Also the power one is shaped differently, so it will not work with the manual center link

    the idler arm goes in on the top on the power unit has balljoint going in one way the none power has like a stud you can remove
    from the looks of the pitmen they both press in from the bottom the nonpower pitmen has more of a bend in it and it bends up and twist wear it goes to the center link any one have a good Pic of a Manuel unit at the pitmen arm :) don't want to put it on wrong if it dont go like it looks
