Rare grabber... ?

    i got this grabber about a week ago and just about got everything off of it. when i was knocking some old spray paint off of the fender i noticed that the grabber stripe down the side was kinda odd. the word 'grabber' is white along with the outlining stripe but the center portion of the stripe is gold. kinda weird for a 'bright blue poly' car. and on top of that, the grabber had a vinyl top. anyone else have one or know if this combitnation might be rare?:16suspect

    mine came with a vinyl top, that part isnt that rare. gold in the center stripe, are you talking the whole stripe or inside the lettering? pictures?

    Not sure if I've ever seen that color stripe ... Sounds hidious though!

    I would say that is a rare color combo.

    I've had a few
    I know where there is a blue Grabber just like that in NC. Has the rust free Grabber hood and all still on it. The guy that has it must be in his mid 80's or so, gotta yell when you talk to him, can hardly hear. He also has a red '74 2 door he bought new that is his daily driver, paint is oxidized but the car is mint condition. Then he has a white big bumpered 4 door that is wrecked real bad that he says used to be his parts car.

    He won't sell any of them. Says he is going to leave them to his son.
