Gear ratios ???

    Anyone know what rear gear would have came in a 77 4door, 250 6cyl. automatic ??

    either 3.00 or 2.79

    Should be a tag on the differential housing that tells you. Otherwise, look on the tag inside the door. There are some codes there, and then do a search on the forum for interpreting the codes.
