What year did they start putting the chrome on the door, fender and rear quarters? 1973?

You mean like alog the bottom of the window/top of the door area? I know at least back to '73 had it. My '73 4 door has it, '74 Grabber has it, and a '73 2 door I'm getting from Earl has it.

What fender chrome are you talking about? The trim Jamie is talking about is only on the door and rear quarter. I have never seen that on anything older than 73. Also it is stainless, not chrome.

Dennis; he is talking bout the vinyl strip that runs along the quarter, doors, and the front fenders. They are stainless, with a vinyl strip in the center. I have a later '73 that has this, along with the window and upper door and quarter window trim..LDO stuff without the LDO interior. Go figure......
