I went to look at a 72 Maverick up in Mojave, CA in the desert. Guy was asking only $300. It is an original V8, auto, power steering, air condition, 2 door LDO. Even though it was in the desert it had rust behind the rear wheels and at the hood hinges, but overall not that much rust. It was too rough for me, but if I had room I would have bought it. It could easily be saved as it was pretty straight, good bumpers and of course I like Mavs with V8's. Here's a few pics (I have a bunch). I'll put another post in the classifieds in case anyone is interested. He also had some 15x8 slotted mags...those aren't worth much are they? Also, on the way back I stopped at a Pick-a-Part and found a 70 that was amazingly rust free...I got a driver side door off of that for my 71. Ya gotta love the CA desert.
