View Full Version : Server Trouble
The forum was down for most of the day due to server trouble that consumed all the disc space. As a result there was some corruption in the forum database, but I believe that I fixed it. Please let me know if you see any threads/posts that are missing or encounter any problems.

I am getting the message again...? Was just now able to get in...
Acornridgeman 2006-08-19, 23:16 That one really sucked - been down all night.
I see Stefans green light is on but he doesn't show up on the "whos online" page, is that normal?
I've opened another trouble ticket with the server company and they are looking into it.
Ok...thanks for being there for us!

My session probably timed out and would not be surprised if it has something to do with the disc space problem. Everytime you log on the forum, a file gets written to the server to distinguish who you are from others. The file was probably deleted/overwritten or became corrupt as something is consuming disc space at an alarming rate.
I have been trying to clean up some of my mess, don't know if that helps:huh: ...

No need to... The problem is at the operating system level and is affecting the database. The server admin is looking into it and said it should be fixed in the next 4 hours.
Ok, thanks, i'll stop now :whew:
I sure hope we don't loose us... to the cyboards bugs:rofl2:
