Well here is a doozy for you guys cause I know you love a challenge. My 73 mav is making a wierd popping noise when it is being reversed and simultaniously turning to the left! It made it once before and my boyfriend got under the car and tightened a bracket of some sort and it stopped for a few days then came back. I just had new spindles, lower ball joint arms, rotors and pads put on the car and the noise it sort of infrequent. I am taking it back to the shop on Monday so they can figure this all out but again I would like to have some ideas as to what it might be so I can tell them. Also everything "appears" to be tight under the car. Go figure huh! Thanks

I would check upper ball joints and strut rod bushings.
