    ...Green Comet GT.

I have seen that green GT on the web before. I read somewhere else that it was unrestored, and that it came from the dealer with some type of special package...Stabber or something that included those sidepipes.

If it is unrestored, it seems to have been repainted. I do not recall the 71-72 stripes taking that shape on the front fender. They are supposed to be straight.

I had a friend in high school who had a green GT. His was a '73 and had the Slime green/gold paint.

It looks like the EFI Maverick/Comet is about where I am. He doesn't have power brakes, so the braces aren't difficult. I also noticed he hasn't had his A/C hoses done as well. Good lookin' Mav though. I mean Comet.

The way I posted the pics makes it a little misleading...The fuel injected 5.0 isnt in the Green Comet GT. Its in the green `72 Maverick with the black top and 17" Torque Thrusts in the other post I made The injected Mav also has the Shelby drop done to the front suspension and the owner said it made a BIG difference in the handling. The car also gets 24 mpg!

Yes...that is Johnathan Crowe's car. He doesn't come on here anymore it seems. He quit coming on here about the same time that I sent him some parts in a promise he would send me the money later. By the way, when is "later" because I am still waiting for "later" to get here????
