It was great day here weather wise, and I got the 69.5 out of mothballs after sitting all winter. Started right up! I had ordered pizza so it gave me an excuse to take it for a test drive. :D

The 69.5 needs some attention due to some surface rust etc (solid car otherwise), but it didn't stop people from taking a second look etc. I pulled into the pizza shop, and the guy out front came over and said 'Wow!' he used own a 70'. We talked about Mavericks and what great 'sleepers they can be etc' for a little bit and then I had to get the pizza before everyone wondered where I went.

Sorry to ramble, but I never cease to be amazed out how many looks and comments I get from people!, and it is always positive!!! I had the 72' out on the 15th and drove to the post office, and the guy there taking mail for people kept going on and on about how 'sweet' it looked. Didn't intend on going this long, but I had to share!

    I've noticed the same thing.
I get more waves, nods of approval, and smiles with my car than my buddy does with his 67 mustang and his is all one color!:D

    Good to hear!
In the bay area where I live,it seems they always give me a "thumb's up" (no not the middle finger) I only drive two of my mav's one is just parked for repairs, and I get a "cool car nod" all the time.
