Can you please let me know how well it works and how much it cost. It was 112 degrees today and I am going to be getting my car legal to drive again very soon. the stock radiator just dosn't cut it.

I have the same radiator and with temps in the upper 90's here, 10:1 compression, and a 16" electric fan (no fan on motor) I have no problem keeping mine under 180. I bought mine last year from Summit for $552

$552? That seems high for a non custom built radiator. Before I pay that much I am going to see what Griffen wants to make me a custom one or see if they have any pre made ones since the company is based here in Phx. of course I may be nuts and have no idea on what a radiator actually costs.

are you all really having many problems keeping the engines cool to justify $552 for a radiator? I've still got a factory replacement copper-brass-lead 2 core in my bracket maverick with the 14.5:1 compression 357, and it never gets above 210, even during a burnout with the fan off. Weird

thats wear i got mine from was Griffen took 5 weeks and with the 20 Bucks for ship it was $563.38 the summit one like the ones for the mav that Mavaholic has they told me they dont carry any more and the ones they have are the same but there cross flow and the brackets not the same there 2 1 inch cores the Griffen is 2 1 1/4 inch cores for what its worth but not cheap and i want my motor to run as close to 165 deg as i can get it to over 195 for me is out of the ? the stock 3 core was new but the car sitting at a light would get over 195 deg then for about a min or two it would jump up over 200 till you got going

IN my maverick with a 347 with 10.5:1 comp. and a decent cam my temp would be aorund 210 in regular driving during the winter. now that it is over 105 degrees driving the Maverick is not possible until I get a good radiator. I have tried many t-stats, got a 7 blade fan with shroud with another 16 electric in the front. I have maybe 25 % antifreeze just to keep it from rusting and keep the boiling point higher than water alone and a bottle of water wetter in it.

So, yes my car gets hot enough to justify a $550 radiator. Even though it dosn't have a/c I still want to drive it to the track in summer in Phoenix.

Yes some of the other Griffins will fit. I put the one in from Summit it cost about 200. You need to do some modifications, and make the brackets, but its not hard. I will see if I can get a picture, or ask CometGt1974 to repost his, that is what I used for a guide.
