Why did you de-stroke it? Just curious. I am in the same boat; I plan to fire my new one up this weekend. Was supposed to be last weekend, but things didn't work out...
yep me too it tried on saturday but it wouldnt run i've fixed my problems and hope to run it tomorrow and then sunday after i rebuild the carb.
It seems everybody is doing the 347 or 331 stroker. I just wanted to do something different. And I don't think there are too many roller block 289 running around.
