v8 AIR CLEANER

    ok i know theres a difference in 71 72 v8 air cleaner...i remember reading it but i cant find the link?????:hmmm:

    I think the 72 is smaller diameter and a little taller.
    The thread has pics of the 71.

    deffintly a difference why was ford alaways changing parts..its a hassle

    I like the 71 better.
    Something about it looking lower and smoother.
    I don't know why Ford put those indents in the top part of the 72 unit.
    Heck, the snorkle is even better looking on the 71.
