With a BFH, a drill, and maybe a welder you can make anything fit. Just depends on how bad you want them...

The seats will fit if you swap on the proper tracks!
But I suppose you knew that already... ;)

There are at least three things to look at, well that was my experience.
    1. Catalytic Converter floor pan or not?
    2. Correct seat tracks, early ones are 12 inches between the holes for all tracks, late ones have about 14 inches between holes for the inside (left) track for the passenger seat.
    3. The seat bottom frame, early passenger seats are the same on both left and right side, later seats (at least 76/77) the inside (left) seat bottom is shorter, the seat will not sit level on the ground with the tracks off.

I knew about the first two, but did not know about number three. My solution is to bolt the left track to the floor, and then set the seat in place with the outside (right) track bolted to it and then to the floor. This will allow you to lift the inside (left) side of the seat up until it is level. Measure the distance between the track and seat bottom. This is how tall of a spacer you will need between the track and seat bottom on that side. Remove everything then have a full length spacer made that can be welded to the top of the track and then bolt it to the seat bottom and put the seat in the car.
