After having starter fitment problems, I got one that fits......well I made it fit. The engine fired for the first time with a little gas poured in the carb. I then put more gas it the fuel bowl, it took a little more than I thought it should. Then took some time to plug some vacume ports. I then went to start it one more time. It started to turn over then abruptly stopped. cylinders 4 & 8 hydraulic locked from the extra gas. Had to pull all the plugs, and turn it over by hand till most of the gas was pumped out of the cylinders, then cranked it with the starter. Put the plugs back in. The engine started right back up with no extra sounds. It wont be long now!
