Have you tried running a new power wire and a new ground wire? I used to chase the gremlins around my sound system.....then I ran new wires and the gremlins had to go! New speaker wires wouldn't hurt either. If you have a gear messed up in the head unit, you may have other problems there too. Good Luck! Preston

Ahh.... I see. Are you using the factory fusebox under the dash? Or is it an inline fuse setup?

For the radio i'm using the factory box and for the amps i'm using inline.

I gave up on the factory box. I ran a wire direct to the battery and used an inline fuse there too. What size wire for the amp? And what size fuse?

For the small 60 watt amp i'm using 18gauge, for the big one i'm using 6 i think....the fuse if 15 amp for the small one i haven't put one on the big one.

For my big amp I have 6 guage wire with an 80 amp fuse. Smaller amp I use an 8 guage with a 40 amp fuse. I don't like the 40 for the simple reason that it is hard to find fuses......? I started using it because my small-town local parts store sold them. That store has since burned and I have a time finding 40 fuses......:?: I don't think it would hurt anything to move up in size on your wires and fuses. Also make sure your ground wire is big enough. That's a mistake I used to make. It's better to go too big on your wire than too small. Let us know how it turns out!!
