I bought a set of Super 44s and have them just snapped onto the header collectors. No welds, no downturns, just a coupler and the mufflers slid on. I will take them to a muffler guy in a week or two to have them installed professionally, but for now, I just wanted to snap them on to hear them...

    I LOVE EM!!!

They sound a little like a cross between my glasspacks and a Flowmaster 40.

    Very deep and aggressive.

I would like to post a sound clip, but I don't have the correct tools to do it with. Any suggestions?

Maybe a way I can use my Sprint Cell phone to record it?

Awesome. Those just came out didn't they? Wonder how they sound vs The Original 40 series Flows.

They are pretty new. These sound more like the Super 40s on the Flowmaster website. http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/sound.html

The Super 44s are only 4"X10" where the Super 40s are 5"X10".

In my opinion, the regular 40s were too loud and pingy, sounded like the exhaust was going through a tin can with marbles in it (my wife's description, but it fits:D ). I like the glasspack sound because it is a "solid" sound, not pingy, yet aggressive, without being too loud.

This muffler has the "Flowmaster sound" but it is a bit more muffled, like a glasspack. But is still Flowmaster loud.

I will get a tape recorder from my wife's classroom tomorrow, convert it to .wav and upload it to the forum.
