Boy am I happy as a pig in a mudpit. Saturday, me and my dad picked up our brand new old motor. Its a 71 comet motor with 33,000 original miles on it!!! I am so excited about it. It is still as blue as the day it rolled off the assembly line. Best part... only 200 bucks, and it ran perfectly five days before we picked it up!!! This brings our grand total up to about 700 dollars for our mav with a 302!!! I am so anxious to get it in and listen to it run.

I was thinking about putting one of those edelbrock performer manifold, carb and cam with lifters kits in it. I dont know what to do to it when I get the cash...

    COngrats!!!

first thing to do with your money is to ditch the single exhaust and go with headers and a good dual setup.

From their I would move on to an intake/carb setup, and then a 200 shot of nos ;)
