I hate to open a can of worms, and maybe it is just my computer, but it does not have this problem with any of the other forums.

WHen I click on a link, half the time it is non responsive, and I get a:

    Service Unavailable
The proxy is currently unable to handle the request due to a (possibly) temporary error. Extended error information is:

Failed to forward the request to the web server at mmb.maverick.to:80. This may be due to a firewall configuration error or a DNS failure.

If this situation persists, please contact your firewall administrator.

However, often I can go around through the back door by clicking on the email link, and I will get there. Sometimes if I keep clicking, it will work. What gives?

Did you have this problem before the server move? Since the move, I sometimes have problems accessing mmb.maverick.to but maverick.to/mmb works fine.

What kind of firewall are you using?

I will have to ask on the firewall thing, as I work for a major corporate thing--Sprint, and am not sure.

I didn't have these problems before the switch, it is most serious on the maverick.to page, but sometimes happens trying to respond to threads too.

When I find out about my firewall, I will let you know

I still want to see a screen shot of mmb.maverick.to. Go to mmb.maverick.to, press the print screen button located next to the F12 key, paste it into your paint program and upload it here.

I tried to do that the last time you mentioned it. Nothing happens when I hit the print screen button. I even tried to copy and paste it to paint and it wont work either.

well, today and yesterday, all the thread links seem to be working ok, but I still can't get in through the main page, have to get in through a link to a post in my email.

Jeremy, does http://maverick.to/mmb/ work and http://mmb.maverick.to not work for you? Is it an intermittent problem?

    Missing my old '70 Maverick

For whatever reason, it is difficult to find the image that "Print Screen" creates. I've searched the Internet to find out where this image is stored and in what extension - nothing.

However, you can hit the print screen key (when you're viewing this site), then open an image editor, creat new, then left mouse click in the 'new image' area, right click and "paste" the image of the screen shot.

Someone here knows where this 'temp' image is and it's name. I used to but am too old now. You may only have to attach "it" (whatever "it" is called) to your post.

    Somebody else wanna elaborate here?

I just tried it, and it was the opposite,

http//www.maverick.to/mmb did not work, and http//www.maverick.to worked.

I don't have a problem ever clicking on and getting the mmb.maverick.to home page, the problem lies when I click on the "forum" link, which should link it to http//www.maverick.to/mmb, the problem seems to lie in that link.

I will have to play with the site for the next few days to see if the problem still lies with the message links too.

Rick, that is EXACTLY what I was trying to say.

The print screen resides on your clipboard. Back in the day, I belive print screens were saved as .pcx files.

If I cut and paste the screen to notepad or on an email, the image is not the same as the image on the message board. I can read everything when I paste it. As far as tring to use print screen, nothing works no matter how I try.
