In the Drive section of the Detroit News and Free Press Wednesday 07-23-03. there was an article about a guy from Union Lake MI that has a 1977 Maverick 2dr. It tell how he built it into an awsome hot rod. A V8 engine with nitrous oxide! THere was a nice picture of both the car and its owner! Mabe Ill met up with him some day as I live only about 45 miles from there! Well I need to finsh packing for New Castle. Joe Riggio:)

Joe; going to the Woodward Ave. Dream Cruise? I will be there on the 13th. Last year, I was the only Mav there, that I could find, and got lots of attention, lots of comments. Very good show!

Max, I have been tooled that a few time before. I am no relation to them and I have never met a Riggio that I was not related to. It is interesting though. I wonder if any of them own a Maverick! Joe

You know Max, I have a 1974 Maverick Grabber and a 1969 Mustang Mach 1. They are my hearts desire but, I were rich or I was granted any car I think it would be a new Thunderbird! They will be discontinued soon and will become rear like the orginals! Mabe I would get the James Bond edition! Joe
