swapping engines

    74 mercury comet
    Hi this my first post and i'm new to this. I have a 74 mercury comet and would like to swap the 200 ci to a 302. What do I need to do and where do I start? Thanks for your help.

    Lots of info on doing it. Try a search. Several guys have done it.

    If you are starting from scratch, look into using a 5.0, you will only have to buy a couple of extra after-market items for around $100 extra, and you will have the roller cam in it.
