Does anyone know if the cowl vent "pan" on a non A/C car is shaped the same as the pan on an A/C car? I know that the non A/C set up has two vent holes and the A/C has only one .
The reason I ask is because I want to take the entire A/C from a 1972 model and put it into a 69 1/2 model which had no A/C from the factory . It looks like I can just close off the drivers side vent hole and everything would just bolt right in ???

You are correct. I put a factory air system in my 77. The cowls are the same. I just cut a circle out of metal and tacked it up to block the hole. Then sealed it up.
