i m just putting some feelers out to the southern members of this forum about possibly meeting at or somewhere near the turkey rod run over the thanksgiving holiday. it seems like the northern boys get all the fun. at least down here we get to play all year!! anyway, for those of you who don't know what turley rod run is here goes--- it is held each year in daytona florida over the thanksgiving holiday weekend. there are usually about 4000 cars there as well as an ocean of venders for parts. the show is held in the infield of the daytona 500 track. it is so large you cannot look at every car and vender in 1 day. the last few years more maverick and comet parts have been showing up too. the problem is that in all those cars there is rarely more than 2 or 3 mavs or comets. i think it is time we showed them that we are represented and that these are great cars. mine is a 4dr and i STILL get comments on it all the time. this show does fill up fast and preregistration is highly recommended so if there is any interset we need to get started real quick. coordination would be key. this would have to be a very informal meet do to the size of the show but i would like to meet some of you and put some faces and cars to the names. ANYONE INTERESTED???????
