Hello Everybody ! my name is christoph, german , 40, ( so please excuse my broken english) I live in the Philippines and have an maverick, Its hard to find out even small things like what are the right spark plugs: I go to a shop with the old ones (for sure not the right ones) and they give me new ones….. I ask them if those are the right ones for that car/engine, and they say Yes Sir! Look it’s the same threat …………………………. ;-) Where can I find data’s like that (also the degrees for ignition and so on)? its a straight six and I do not even know the year ( 50US$ i paid for the car ) The chassis number is F 0X9IU229421 F I will put some pictures on a server http://www.bops-world.de/ford/ford.htm. Anyway its a straight six, the number is 9K-13N, i looked in some old books and I do not find that Number, the color of the motorblock is blue. Is it possible that the original spark plug is a BF82 by motorcraft? which Type you can suggest in our Century ?
correct me if i am wrong ... it is a 1970. if it is a 200 engine, it takes autolite number 46. welcome filipino guy! any questions you have, ask away! somebody will know the answer.
