My car was origionally a 6 cylinder, and the transmission crossmember only has one hump in it, which i would assume was for the single exhaust. Did the V8s crossmember have two humps? If so where can i get one, because right now my longtubes are tapping on that one side. Thanks.

Yep, the V8 Mavs had the dual hump tranny crossmember for the duals. As far as getting one, I am sure someone on the board can hook you up with one real quickly. I would post in the parts wanted section if no one replies to you here before you get to it. :)

maverick5946 is right but AK is proud of them. I'd check local junk yards first. and sometimes you see them on ebay. Good luck!

    Tranny crossmamber

Depending on what hedder you run you may have clearance issues. I just installed Hedman 88308 coated hedders and had to rework th crossmamber. The long tube comes out at an angle on the drivers side that runs right into the bolt of the crossmember(it misses the cutouts by an inch!). So I cut mine in half and welded an angle on it to bolt that side to the original 6-cylinder hole.
