76' gas tank ???

    it was said that the 76' tank is 19.2 gals. ??? is will this tank fit other years? i know you would have to use the straps. i saw one in the bone yard and also noticed that it had the small opening for the gas nozzle. i liked that, so i got that anyway. most of the time when filling the tank it wants to spit out. maybe this will stop that. thanks...frank...

    Original 72 Sprint Owner, 71 Comet GT, 57 Ranchwagon, 57 4 dr Wagon
    The later tanks will fit eariler cars. Only problem is they hit against the valance panel. You can gently bow out the panel for clearence.
