I recently got a copy of the 1974 price schedule for the Maverick. It list all the costs of each option, and each special package. What really got my goat was in the upper right corner, it says what the dealer invoice will show price wise. If you were trading in a car, it would cost you $200 more on the invoice! Not only did they give you less than market value for your trade, they upped the cost of the new one! If it was $200 back in 1974, just think what it would be today. It's no wonder new cars aren't selling good anymore!
