Just wondering, on the "year to year changes" page that comes up on the www.maverick.to page (www.maverick.to/grabber/mavchanges.html) for the 1976 Comet it mentions the introduction of the "Sport Accent Group introduced this year only." There is no link to what that entails and I can't seem to find any other mentions of it.
Does anyone have any idea what the Sport Accent Group was made up of and how to determine if a '76 Comet had it or not?

My 76 had a factory V8 and a seemingly deluxe interior (reclining buckets, deluxe door trim, wood grain dash piece, map light on the headliner lamp, etc) but I have no idea if that might be what the sport accent group was or if it perhaps there was some kind of Stallion version of the Comet with decals and such.

The site mentions styled steel wheels and sport mirrors but does anyone know if there was more to the Comet version?

    Anyone?

The reclining seats and woodgrain makes me think it has the LDO package [Luxury Decor Option]
