It's 3:15am and I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive about attending a Second strait national event without my car......which is totally disassembled and waiting for my return. Which I might add has been bolstered by seeing so many other great examples of what a maverick can be. Stock,Race,Pro touring and in between.......yet I digress.... this meet really isn't about the cars. It's about the people.:Handshake I am proud to say I have meet so many nice and enthuisastic people I am a tad over whelmed. Great people indeed......

We have had tons of fun already. The Drag event was a success. Last year rain dampened our fun if not our spirits.(pun intended:dancing:) We attended a cool car museum(its late and i think I spelled that right:rofl2:). We saw some of the best examples of hotrods/custom cars on the planet assembled in one place. Truly impressive to say the least. One of the best family fun activities I have ever been to at one of these meets. My hats off to the hosts Matt and Robert. They are doing an excellent job and Joplin ended up being a great location to pull in some far away Maverick/Comet family members, One fine example is the Hackmans(THACK). I am just blown away with both of thier cars. Tomorrow is a full day as well so I better get some rest......

    To be continued

    i made it home:(:yahoo:

I want to thank JOHN FORD for the ride and Ron Perrier for the room. Without them giving a mavericker a little help I would not have been able to attend. To many bills this year otherwise..............
Thanks to Rob and Matt and families for hosting this event
    and to the rest I

    THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!
