Comet/Maverick fender differences?

I should know this by now, but are there any differences between Maverick and Comet front fenders (besides nameplate holes)? Thanks. John B

 

The notch in the front for the stone guard,, but that is only a diferant between the early 1969 to 1972,, and the 74 and up but other then that should be no diferances,, if your Comet is the same year as the Maverick,, the fenders should be the same unless some one made some changes,,,

 

Yup, they are the same vendors rear for year.

If you havea 72 Comet, its the same as 72 maverick fenders.

The only difference, as stated above, is the notches for big vs small bumpers

 

The only other difference is the headlight adjusters changed in the later years.

 

Are the little holes that hold the Maverick or Comet script on the fender (pre 73) in the same places? I assume they would be, but you never know.
