Well no more reasons to not work on the mav. The garage is done, floor is coated, 7 day cure has past, now car is in and started stripping it down. I have my mig welder gassed up and a big box of cut off wheels ready to go.I'm going to learn how to bend my own lower quarter patches, right side very easy, left side I'm not sure I will have any left to make a pattern out of. hoping for a patch panel real soon. Floors should be easy with mustang floors I already have.cowl is going to be the hardest in my opinion.I now have a camera so as soon as I learn how to down load pics. I will show my progress.

Sounds good. I painted my floors first thing at our place because I knew the garage would never be empty again as long as I live here. :bouncy:

Good luck with the bodywork. There are full rear quarters available for about $170, I think. I might need one myself if what is lurking under the paint on mine is as bad as I imagine. Mine was sideswiped prior to me buying it.

I called autokrafters and the full quarter went from 199.00 to 320.00 I have not called rps or jcwhitney. I am hopeing joe starts the quarter patches soon. I still think patch panels will be a big seller. I bet a lot more mavs. would be saved not striped for parts if it was easy to buy patch panels.
