No leaks, new wp, new t-stat, new radiator, new fan relay, tried second pcm. No HC in coolant, coolant stays full.
Daughter says it overheats when cruising around town but not a highway speeds. She turns it off just before it goes in the red and it isn't all the time... I run it in the driveway and fan comes on at just over 220, doesn't sound too strong tho. Also, second fan with blade (used), both come on. I'm thinking not enough amps from alt...:huh:

Try spinning the fan when the car is not running. I've seen these fans fail, but still spin under power - but spinning slowly. I would think that if the alt was failing that it would be evident in other ways (slow starting, etc).

Thanks. I have looked at all kinds of possibilites, including the fan. It's intermident and that's what's killing me. It won't do it for me and she said it's not all the time. When it does it's when shes doing lower speeds around town.
It needs a compressor cause it leaks around the case. I figure if I put the compressor on then she can turn the AC on and the fan will/should run continously...

I wonder if the temp sensor is bad - it will determine when to turn the fan on/off.
