Well ... our secret is out. The 71-72 Maverick Grabber/Comet GT is listed in their "Deals on Wheels" Top 10 Muscle Car Bargains. The premise of the article is that you could get into one of these cars for less than $20K. They specified those two years because of V8 availability and thin bumpers. Other notables in the list... 68-71 Torino GT 71-73 Cougar 71-74 Javelin and some (yawn) GM and Mopar stuff Don't bother trying to find this ... Feb 09 is on the newstand right now, and it really is just a paragraph and a photo of a nice white Comet GT from when Motor Trend tested it new.

One of my best friend's 73 AMX was featured in the March 09 issue. The spread starts on page 90. I helped a little on getting that car back together ... nice show car now. 401 with the Pierre Cardin interior. He also has a 72 Javelin that he has had since 1978, and a 70 AMX bracket racer.
